Coaching - my new path
Share
When I was choosing my studies, I deliberately didn't choose psychology. Not because I didn't want to, but because I'm highly sensitive and wasn't ready to be strong enough in that area yet. During my studies, I did take as many psychology courses as possible in my minor and I did a master's in positive psychology (within Communication Science). Now—10 years later—I've decided to give that side of myself a chance and start helping people through coaching.
Why I decided to become a coach – and what I learned
Somewhere in my head was the little voice asking, "Who are you to do this? Can you do this?"
And yet… deep down, I felt I had to do this. Because I know from personal experience how powerful it is to have someone who listens, who gives you guidance, and who helps you see your own path clearly.
I've taken several courses and programs to strengthen my mindset and make it more positive. I've learned to deal with overstimulation, to focus my thoughts more positively, and to better manage my energy.
Through that process I learned something valuable: change starts with you, but you don't have to do it alone .
Why coaching feels like coming home to me
I'm highly sensitive and gifted, which allows me to quickly sense what someone needs, even without them explicitly saying so. I can help people see things from a different perspective, discover small, impactful tricks, and provide tools to experience more peace, balance, and positivity.
For me, coaching isn't just something I offer; it's a way to share my own experiences and lessons. It feels like a natural way to help others grow while simultaneously deepening my own insights.
Taking the step
It took me a while to really decide: I'm going to do this, despite that little voice in my head.
I realized that perfection isn't necessary. That gaining experience and mentoring people is precisely how I develop myself.
And so I started my pilot: a small program of 3 sessions, in which I help people strengthen their mindset, practice gratitude and find their energy balance.
What I have learned myself
-
You don't have to know everything or be perfect – dare to start with what you can do. Don't let your fears guide you, because fear is a bad counselor.
-
My own experiences are invaluable – my own growth process helps others move forward more quickly. I can simply share what I already know.
-
Providing tools works – it's not just about advice, but about concrete, applicable tips that people can use to truly change things. Practice makes perfect.
My invitation to you
Coaching is about discovering your path, finding your own handles and growing step by step .
If you feel stuck in your head, overstimulated, or simply want to experience more balance and positivity, I can personally guide you in this.
The beauty is: sometimes a single good conversation is enough to take the first step. And if you want to go further, you can always continue with a program that suits your pace and goals.
Step by step, your way. 🌿
